1911 Etching

I recently sent my 1911 in for repairs.And they bead blasted my slide,not that that was what it was sent in for.It was sent in for something else I don't know why they did this.It lead me to think that it was another slide till the Ruger CS called me back.And I asked why my Etching on the slide looked duller then I remembered.

Is there anyway to darken the etching on stainless steel mine is dull now that its back from Ruger.The Ruger made in the USA and Ruger emblem on the other side are not as contrasted and faint they said they bead blasted the slide/and this takes away from the firearms looks.

Not quite understanding what your saying but if they etched your slide and you didn't request etching I would demand they replace the slide or restore it back the way it was.
