10/22 sticky trigger

A few weeks ago, I installed a new hammer into my 10/22. I forgot the brand. About every 5 rnds or so, the trigger or sear won't reset. I can freely swing the trigger. I'll give a little rap on the side of the receiver and it will click into place. I assume it's from the hammer, but how could I fix this?

Take it out and try re-installing it.

Did you shim the hammer??
If so you might wanna remove one.
