Hey everybody,
Got a problem with my new 10/22. Took it out and fired and all was fine. Brought it home and field stripped it as I have other 10/22's I have owned. When I put the trigger group back into the receiver and tried to pull the bolt back and it would virtually would not move.
I took the trigger assembly back out and checked the bolt and it was in correctly but I took it out and put it back in just for good measure. The problem persisted and I took the gun back apart.
While the gun was apart this time the trigger was pulled which disengaged the hammer from the cocked position. I manually re-cocked the hammer and now the trigger will not depress the pin behind it and the hammer will not drop.
So I have 2 problems
1. I could not cycle the gun when I put it back together.
2. Now the trigger will not move the pin behind it / drop the hammer
Any help would be very much appreciated.
