Hi Did they ever make a #1 in 460 S+W I remember something about it but don't know if they ever made it if so are they available anywhere ? a friend of mine wants one to go with his revolver if they made them

Yes they made them and have one. Always wanted a .44 #3, but way too pricey. So when they listed the 460 on the website bought one of these.
It is versatile as it fires 45 Colt, 454 Casull and 460 S&W.
Bought the Starline brass and went with equivalents to the 45 Colt loads. Fun gun to shoot! Put a New England gun site peep on the rear, and teir tru glow on the front.
Great gun, will eventually have trigger work done, or an aftermarket trigger installed that I got from one of the forum members.

They offered the 475/480ruger in the #1 at the same time. I only seen one 460 and two of the 475s.I was lucky enough to snag one of the 475s with real nice would. Handy gun. I was surprised by recoil. Only gun I have that I don't try to hang onto through recoil. Just try to roll with it.
