I refuse to listen to those jingles.
I just watched a bit of this. Jelly perked up at the Meow Mix commercial. Wasn't that Morris the Cat? I seem to remember some cat named Morris who was famous. I love the Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow jingle. So good.
Morris the cat was 9 lives! I had not thought about that in a while. I remembered most of these commercials.
I remember always wondering did anybody actually eat Rice-A-Roni. Lol it was always the consolation prize on every game show.
Growing up, "Jax - the beel jeer" and "I'm not making fun of you, I'm making fun of her" were my favorites.
The announcer pronounces Meyer as "Maayer," despite repeated pronunciations as Meyer. Who do they hire to slander these products/commercials?
Things have sure changed a lot in the last 50 years.

More often than not, White guys are bumbling idiots in commercials
To mary's deep chagrin, jack benny dragged too many miles out of her "grass reek" error.
