I have a 637, a 642 and an LCR. Also have an LCP just in case. i have a Kimber LW custom 1911 but although I have been tempted, I haven't carried it yet. My major issue is, I have to get used to wearing a belt. I need better quality shorts..lol
Colt Cobra from 1964 is an easy carry. Buffalo Bore makes a low flash, 158 grain, soft lead HP for these old guns. In the photo. I prefer six rounds to five.

Absolutely brutal. How does that scandium N frame feel with factory 44 loads?
Just starting to carry the SW Ultimate Carry in 32 H&R.Anyone carry a 32 H&R Magnum?
I carry 38 cal hard wad cutters in my 357 LCR. I understand they hit hard and make a hole. Lower recoil than +P.I carry the 6 round LCR in 32 mag. Federal magnum rounds can be a bit painful to shoot, so I practice with wad cutters. In fact, I carry wad cutters, because that nice hole they make in paper they also make in flesh.
32, 33, 34, whatever it takes.Just starting to carry the SW Ultimate Carry in 34 H&R.
Hey! That would be a great choice for my old Colt, with the strap under the trigger guard instead of over the hammer.Simply Rugged makes a nice cross draw holster that they call a Joe Friday. They are not cheap but I think their holsters are great. 638 Bodyguard Airweight on the left and 1973 Colt Detective Special on the right.
Just the facts ma'am, just the facts...

Opposite side of the Joe Friday holster with the Detective Special. The holster is an OWB style that rides high and meant to be worn under a jacket. I'm sure Joe would have liked it. MeTV runs Dragnet at 5am weekdays and I catch it sometimes if I am up.Hey! That would be a great choice for my old Colt, with the strap under the trigger guard instead of over the hammer.
