Best 22LR pistol for suppressor?

I have a suppressor and several 10/22's with threaded barrels.
Would like to get a semi-auto pistol with a threaded barrel.
Just wondering what everyone recommends? Used for casual target shooting and pest control.

Ruger Mark pistols are fairly large and heavy for this purpose. The 22/45 versions should be better weight-wise but still unwieldy. I would look at a conventional pistol layout with a 3-4" barrel: Ruger SR22, Sig Mosquito, GSG Firefly, Bersa T22. You can also go the ultra-compact route (Beretta Bobcat, Ruger LCP2), but the sights will be problematic for shots at any range, and you may find these annoyingly muzzle-heavy.
 
I run a MkII with 'alloy' Tactical Solutions upper. Runs flawless. Also have a Glock 22LR, it also runs flawless. I admit I am a Glock fanboy, the Glock is dimensionally same as 19. But they should hav added weight proportionally to make it same as 19. Sig Mosquito's are Crap. Been down that road. I use SiCo suppressor

Another vote here for the MK-IV Lite 22/45's. I find it to be a great suppressor host. Although I will say, my 22/45 Lite doesn't like my Silent Legion 22 can (accuracy suffers). But I have borrowed a couple of other 22 suppressors, and they work great.

This was a few years back with my old flip phone in my left hand and 22/45 in my right :ROFLMAO:
Real crappy picture, but you can hear how quiet it is.
EDIT...no video, just sound??!!?? :oops: :oops:
Oh well, I promise the sound is rounds going down range!

I saw the video once I hit play. Pretty quiet!
 
Go with a revolver, a little duct tape and super glue will keep the suppressor in place for the first three or four shots, then more duct tape. You can use JB Weld but that makes cleaning tough unless you use the hot wash cycle on the dishwasher. :LOL::cool::ROFLMAO:😎
 
I think I'll go with the Mark IV Tactical and pick up a 22/45 lite later.

I really like my MK IV Target, well balanced with a suppressor and standard velocity CCIs stay subsonic most of the time and cycle the action flawlessly. More accurate than I am.

HUH??? Apparently we have distinctly different ideas about the use/purpose of a suppressed 22 pistol. My expectation is to fire 22 bullets accurately and quietly which is best accomplished by a full size Ruger pistol.
 
@Mobuck, I would argue that depends on the purpose. I can hit a 12" plate with a suppressed Beretta Bobcat at 40', which would meet the OP's requirement of plinking. A Ruger Mark pistol or similar with a suppressor is fine for static shooting from a bench but a PITA to haul around for clearing traps (which is what I consider to be the role of a .22 pistol in pest control) as it requires a TC Contender-sized holster. Something more compact but still functional and hearing safe is ideal for this task.

Different requirements, I guess. I prefer a rifle for shooting anything at range, even when using a .22.
