Anybody seen one of the new small receiver African 77/22 hornets? They look cool in lipseys pics with the banded front sight. Ive seen the 77 hawkeye African in 35 whelen. I really want to see the 22 hornet.

Ohh! I should probably pay more attention!
Im sure they will be beautiful rifles if some actually get made. There have been so many releases over the years where a guy can’t find one before they are all gone or you never even knew one existed til you see a post of someone saying “look at what I just got” that it really makes it frustrating! Good luck finding one and post pics when you do!

I got mine Tuesday Very well done, fun to shoot, accuracy is good so far, Trigger is terrible!! I will be getting a Timney soon. Scaled down and very light, but still feels right.

I was finally able to get one this week. Mine too had a black pad and walnut more like the stock photo. What little I have shot it, accuracy looks to be good with 35gr V Max bullets and a case full of H110. Trigger on mine was also lousy at 6+ lbs. I changed the trigger spring to a same length section of a 1911 firing pin spring and it dropped to 4 lbs. I'll check with Volquartsen and Timmney to see what's available.

Lipsey's doesn't have any, so whatever is out there is either at a gun store or in someone's hands

They have them, they are just allocated. Everything I hear they are shipping very slow.
"Allocated" means they are spoken for. I just went through this for my 1894 SBKL .357. Sales reps are given a specific amount that they can give out to their accounts as they see fit. I had to buy another Ruger in order to get mine, so I picked a 75th Anniversary in Blonde and Stainless.
