I have mainly collected Early Colts and Winchesters, but have always had an appreciation for the Ruger Single Six. In 1968 I bought a worn Single Six and made a 7-1/2" barrel for it on my lathe, which made it look like a 9" Colt SAA. I gave it to my brother, and his first shot brought down a jackrabbit before it got into 2nd gear!
More recently I bought a Single Six (1963 vintage) in 22RF, but with the matching numbered 22 Mag cylinder.
And a few weeks ago, I also bought Ruger Single Six #93. Of course, a flat gate with other early features.
