I have an ultralight that i picked up dirt cheap and the stock has quite a few scratches on it. Nothing deep and the checkering looks good so ive thought about stripping it down.
So now the question...im assuming the forearm tip is painted? Is it a seperate peice of wood or just a painted end on the stock?
The metal on the rifle is in great shape and if its just a painted end , I might try my hand at putting on a rosewood or ebony tip just to tinker with it.
