Why? Cuz i wanna. Cuz it's easier to carry. Cuz it's lighter. Cuz I like the looks. Cuz I don't need to use a scope or red dot just yet, but can later if I want. Cuz it'll be a short gun with a little extra weight to help with a steady hold. Cuz it's different and I haven't seen a thousand...

I'm thinking about picking up a used 7.5" Superblackhawk. I want to cut the barrel down and re-attach a new front sight...and possible a new rear also. 1- Any suggestions on brand, type, etc? 2- Is the grip different from a 5.5" and 4.6", if so how? I plan on getting new grips also. Thanks...
