Those knives are beautiful. They are well worth the asking price just because they are custom knives made by famous maker. The fact that the are Ruger knives is just icing on the cake. There was one knife made with a buffalo horn handle. I believe that one is serial number 9.
The long frame refers to the grip frame. You can usually tell a long frame by taking off the wood panels and see if there is a letter " c " stamped in the inside of the grip panel. Also the long frame grip is a little more flared at the bottom of the grip.

:oops: I find the easiest way to find lost parts is to replace them. After you replace them you will more than likely find it. I lost a spring from a trigger group and Ruger sent me a new one no charge.
