SR9 Night Sights For Sale at Ruger

Yes, for me, the sights were dead on. I made sure that the front sight was exactly in the middle of the slide. The elevation was perfect. I normally shoot at 10 to 15 yards, and then at 7 yard for quick draw and double taps.

SR9 Night Sights For Sale at Ruger

Hi, they are not night sights, just fiber optic sights. If you want a great pair of night sights that are also fiber optic night sights, I installed the TFX Pro Tritium sights on both my SR9 and SR9C. They are true very bright Tritium night sights that are also fiber optics for day time use...

    SR9c or an SR22?

I would get the SR9C. It is a pistol that is reliable, accurate, concealable, powerful (enough) and most importantly, you can practice with it to your heart's content. Aftermarket night sights are available, and very powerful and effective 9MM JHPs are readily available. A 22lr round is no...

    Not a Ruger . . . S&W SD9 VE

My son in-law just purchased one. It is about the size of a Glock 19, and slightly larger than my SR9c. The gun has a very nice finish, fit and overall quality feel. The sights are very good. The trigger is a bit long compared to the SR9c (especially since mine is fitted with a Ghost...

    10/22 bolt/spring question

Makes perfect sense. Thanks. I am new to the gun and am used to cocking the spring on my SR9 (stricker fired).

    10/22 bolt/spring question

I noticed that when I retract the bolt there seems to be two stages: an early easy stage, and the a second stage about half through the bolt pull where it is signficantly stiffer. Is this normal? If not, how do I fix this so that the spring pull is a consistent weight all of the way back? PS...

    SR9C ghost rocket

Hi, I have the Ghost Rocket in both my SR9 and SR9C. To me, it helped the trigger pull considerably, made it a bit lighter and corrected all overtravel. To determine if your gun has overtravel, look at the back of your trigger and you will see a stepped section. When the "glock-type" middle...

Ghost Rocket - SR9c - positives and negatives

One other point. If you go read the Ghost installation instructions, they make a point of making sure the trigger connectors have the same bend to them. However, it is not stressed as much as it needs to be in the instructions. The lack of the same profile between the Ghost and original...

Ghost Rocket - SR9c - positives and negatives

To fix the problem with the trigger being hard to pull, take out the Ghost Rocket and lay it on top of the original trigger connector. They need to have the same bend to them. I bet that the Ghost Rocket is "flatter" than the original connector. You will note that the original connector is...

Ghost "Ultimate" Trigger on SR9 - Update and Solut

Hi, I am surprised to see this thread again as it is quite old. However, I took out the Ultimate, removed the trigger stop (which I always viewed as a temporary test) and just and installed the Rocket. It works great. I installed the Ghost Rocket in both my SR9 and SR9C. Both have great...

SR9C Magazine - Can it be modified to hold 12 rounds?

Thanks. Note however that my inquiry was not to question the engineering done by Ruger (i.e., your comment about "contrary to popluar belief"), but I was only wondering if Ruger designed the follower with the elongated legs so as to limit the mag to 10 rounds so as to make it legal in all 50...

SR9C Magazine - Can it be modified to hold 12 rounds?

Thanks for the input and advice. Is was a question and thought that I had, and it sounds like Galloway has already tried it!

SR9C Magazine - Can it be modified to hold 12 rounds?

Thanks, yes, I know it is not possible to modify the bottom of the mag, but if you take the mag apart and look at the follower you will see that it is the elongated legs and extended base of the follower that stop the follower from going any lower. I may order a follower from Ruger and try...

SR9C Magazine - Can it be modified to hold 12 rounds?

I have a SR9C and a Taurus PT111. The magazines are almost exactly the same size, but the PT111 holds 12 rounds. Can the follower in the SR9C mag be modified to allow the mag to hold 12 rounds? Just asking, and checking to see if anyone has cut off the "legs" of the follower to see if it can...

Brand new SR9c + range report (and also my P95 and LCP)

Hi, glad to hear you like the SR9C! I have the SR9 and SR9C, and both are terrific guns. In total, I probably have over 5,000 round through the SR9 w/o any problems, and about 1,000 rounds through the SR9C so far. I am using the SR9C now more often and agree with you that it is a superb gun...
