I've got the same gun, same size, same blueness. It's great and its accuracy even impresses me at 100 yards. I wouldn't trade it for a stainless one either. I'm just a big fan of blued revolvers. Have fun!
Congratulations. It really is a nice looking rifle and I'm sure it's fun to handle (light weight, small, accurate). Man, I wish I were rich. Mind if I shoot it once?
I didn't participate in the raffle because I live in California and have no idea what legalities are involved in such an event. However it was fun to watch and congratulations winners. Rugerforum is indeed full of very nice people.
Merry Christmas and hang in there for 2011, all!
The sucker won't budge. Main spring is out, I've tried all variations of hammer and trigger positions and that sucker won't move. The Ruger Tech Tip video makes it look like a cake walk. Do I have to break out a hammer?
Thanks Ruger Gurus, in advance.
Congratulations. It looks great. I'm sure it shoots as well as it looks or something is seriously wrong. I recently brought my 4" one to a range to try it out at 100 yards (I usually go to a small indoor one). I was impressed that I could hit things that far... no scope.
Blume357... that is possibly the most illogical, unethical, imperialistic thing I've ever read on this forum. Why stop once we've conquered and absorbed Mexico? We could move onto China next. Peace and prosperity through world domination. Let's just stick to cleaning house from within... world...
I admit, I'm very new to rifle shooting and I picked up a Mini-14. When reviewing my spent casings (hopefully one day I'll learn to reload) I noticed that the rim of the casings have at least one area where the bolt perhaps took a bite into it. Is this common with carbines/rifles? Do rims get...
I can't wait to hear the answers on this one. I'm not going to be able to answer this but were you putting anything specific on the barrel before this happened? Maybe I can google an answer for you.
Pretty much my bedside gun sits in a small locked vault but was reading about how bad foam can be. Should I tear out the built in foam so it's just metal? The vault was made by Beretta.
I have a 4" GP and I love everything about it. I'd probably love a 6" for more reasons but, damn, I can't imagine toting around anything even heavier than the one I have. PS, I don't tote around my GP currently.
I'm sure you'll enjoy whichever you decide on. Rugers are great.
