    Inexpensive scope for 10/22?

I put a BSA Sweet 22 on my 10/22. Targets or squirrels, I like it fine. Ordered it online for about $60.00

Can't wait for squirrel season !

Well here it is. I went with a BSA Sweet 22 scope 3-9 X 40. The pic is not great, but it shoots good. Got it zero'd today @ 50 yds. then tried about 90 yds. and the BDC seems to work well..

Can't wait for squirrel season !

Rumrunner, I looked at the Bushnells and I think that Banner fixed 4 X 32 would be just about right on this 10/22. Thanks for pointing them out. Only found 1 or 2 on line, looks like they go pretty quick..

.44 Mag Deerfield .44 Mag. Jamming

Uhh.. Yeah, what "other Jimbo" said.. :) I had the same problem years ago with the one I had, but I DID take the magazine apart. (And Jimbo357 is NOT kidding!) it's a real trick to put it back.. I cleaned and lubed it with some "Teflon" based lube, similar to "Break-Free" or something like...

Can't wait for squirrel season !

I just bought it like it is a few days ago. It has a Tasco 3-9 "Silver Antler" on it, which I'm not really wild about. I'll look around and see what I can find to go on it. I do have to say, I shot 15 rds. through it just to check it out, and the scope was "dead on" at 40 yds. That's usually not...

Can't wait for squirrel season !

Yeah, I always wanted a Mannlicher stocked rifle even as a kid. I really like all the new "Tech" stuff out there now, but as an "oldtimer", I still love the wood stocks and "traditional" style.

    10/22 International end cap screw

Well, just got in touch with a a very nice lady at Ruger, and she's sending the screw free of charge. I'm really amazed that a single tiny screw is still available. A real pleasure dealing with Ruger!

    Interested in reloading

I've been reloading off and on for almost 40 years Maddy. I'm using the Lee Anniversary kit now, and it works just fine. I think I bought it new on Ebay or Amazon (don't remember) pretty reasonable. Like someone else said, get a loading book or two, your dies/shell holder, then figure out what...

    10/22 International end cap screw

Just bought a very nice 10/22 International with wood Manlicher stock. It's missing the small screw that holds the fore end cap in place. I could put a small "wood screw" in, but I'd like to keep it all original. So far I haven't been able to get through to Ruger parts, but just wanted to know...
