    First post & new GP100

Nice acquisition. I've had a 4" stainless GP for about five years, and it's spent plenty of time in the carry rotation. Also have a 4" blued GP stored "away" for a rainy day.

    LCR Delima

I have a .22 LR LCR. Since I don't use it as a main defense gun, and I have a pile of .22 LR ammo, I'm satisfied with my choice.

    GP100 4" Barrel Holster

I have Simply Rugged holsters for two of my GPs. Outstanding holsters.

    Sight options for 3" GP100

I bought mine for defense/concealed carry. I'm wearing it right now, actually. I painted the front sight with white nail polish. Not a perfect solution, but it picks up light better.

    My new GP100

Congrats on the new GP100. If I had to pick one of my guns and get rid of the rest, I'd probably go with one of my GPs. Great guns.

    New lcr

I carry 135-grain Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel rounds in my .38 LCR. This round was developed by Speer at the request of the NYPD 8-10 years ago, and it has a solid record against perps. Beyond that, your LCR should handle any factory-spec .38 Special or .38 Special +P round.

Empties will not drop free from cylinder

I haven't had extraction issues with Mini Mags in my LCR .22. Federal bulk has worked well enough for plinking.

    Sp101 vs lcr for CCW

I recently offloaded a 2.25" double-action-only SP101 that I bought new seven years ago. It was my daily carry gun for much of that time. I bought a .357 LCR earlier this year, and for my purposes, it obsoleted the SP101. The LCR's trigger pull is far better than my SP's was, and I could shoot...

    How does your LCR22 shoot?

My. 22 LCR is a great shooter, and is more fun than I thought a snubbie. 22 would be. The trigger is great for being a double action. I have not fired other double-action. 22 revolvers.

    LCR Rear sight

I checked all three of my LCRs (.357, .38, and .22 versions). All look symmetrical.

    New LCR questions

I have three LCRs (.357, .38, and .22). All have centered hammer pivot pins, but the .357's cylinder requires more effort to close than the others do. The .357 is the newest of the three, and I've used it the least. All three are great shooters.

    LCR 38 or 357

I have both (and a .22 version, too). If I could have only one of the centerfire versions, I'd keep the .357 because I want the cartridge versatility, plus the .357's slightly heavier weight helps absorb recoil just a little better with .38 cartridges. I do use .357s for concealed...

    Single Ten

Yeah, it's not an authentic sixgun unless it has adjustable fiber optic sights, is chambered in .22 Long Rifle, and has only six holes. lol

    Single Ten

I have a Single Ten and a Single Six. I really enjoy both. The Ten is probably more fun for me to plink with because of its greater capacity.

LCR in 38 or 357? UPDATED

I have a .38 LCR and a .357 LCR. The .357 version seems a bit heavy for pocket carry for me. If I'm taking one gun and will pocket-carry it, I lean toward the .38 version. In warmer weather when I go out wearing an untucked T-shirt, I often carry the .357 in a Simply Rugged belt holster and...
