I was out shopping for a 10/22 and stumbled on this one. Model number on the box is 10/22ES and has a sticker that says Sales Sample. Nothing special otherwise, in fact the wood is probably birch or beech, but the coloring is awesome and it’s a unique 10/22. Picked up a Wrangler as well...

If anyone wants one of these, there is one for sale at Shooters Outpost in Hooksett NH. Didn't catch the price, was looking at a bunch of stuff and forgot. It was a laminate/stainless gun with a brake on it.

I think the 308 is 18" and the 300 is 16.25", shorter barrel and the 1/7 twist are both bonuses when shooting with a suppressor and heavy bullets. I say go with the 300.

I found an "OM" Vaquero locally and now I'm looking for a crossdraw holster for it. It's the original fullsize Vaquero with a 3 3/4" barrel. I'd like something a little flashy if possible, maybe a badge/concho. Color isn't really important. I would order something off the internet to be made...
