Kinda sad but still awesome.....they had an aluminum cylinder and frame. They used low power 38 special loads but they didn't like standard 38 special....so they demilled them with an arc welder.....a few survive today intact and I am still looking for one of those...RR

I would have a hard time following orders, and doing my duty, if ordered to do that.

Wow, thanks for the history lesson.
It's amazing what you learn here but it's one of those Happy / Sad things as I was scrolling through the pictures or should I say Horror?
I just can't believe someone could do that. I know I couldn't bring myself to do it.
