Hey you Lords of Soot :D Here is pretty good vids from Bottom Dealing Mike. He is testing the ROA gives accuracy, vel, and penatrtion with round ball.
Will be doing same with 225 bullets. Ya have to look for the one with Goex

That was good info.
Impressive velocity increase with the T-7. I had heard that it does that. I still prefer 3f Goex, but it may be worth picking up a bottle of it. With the heavier weight conicals, it becomes an impressive load.

I had Clements deepen my cylinders. Tried some the 777 and it is a handful now. Will try to get a chrono one of these days.

I notice he only loads 33g of 777. My scoop is around 40g which is what I use in my Ruger Old Army with a 'wad' of cream of wheat. I should do some chrono tests with mine for the heck of it :) . Need to get it back out for a day of percussion shooting :) .

He mentions erratic pressures for compressed 777. Now I have always rammed the ball home and have never noticed anything 'odd' when shooting 777 (whether in percussion or .45 Colt) .... So the question is ... how would you know?
