Ruger Scout rifle now available in 350 Legend.

A news note from Ruger is that they are now offering the Synthetic Scout in 350 Legend. Judging from the photo it probably uses a proprietary Magazine from Ruger instead of the AR style mag used on the Ranch Rifle and the AR. Bob! 8)

I like the Scout platform and I like 350 Legend. I have the American in 350 and feel like I have this thing covered. I do not think there is a very big market for these.

A Scout Rifle in 350 L is an expensive alternative to the Ruger Ranch Rifle. Not sure it'd be worth it for a heavier, more expensive rifle. If it came with a wood stock, maybe. But to each his own. I've talked to a number of people who would buy a Ranch Rifle in 350L IF it came with a wood stock.

Why they make some of their offerings is puzzling. Especially in Ruger 1 configurations and why did they drop the Hawkeye All-Weather
