I have a Nikon Force XR 2 x 20 on my SBHH that works well.

Anything higher than 2x mag jumps around so much using a revolver mounted scope that it is hard to hit anything unless the gun is braced against some kind of rest.
I used Ruger rings to mount the scope directly without a rail.

I tried a cheapie red dot on a Weigand mount but the red dot system didn't work for my eyes... a cross hair in a scope works better for me. YMMV

More magnification doesn't make it jump around more, it just makes it more obvious. You shake just as bad on 2x as on 4x or 8x, you just don't see it.

Hey Ghost, that is an Excel Arms Accelerator Pistol. It is in .22 magnum and is a real shooter. My only problem with it is a lack of available ammo right now. The company is located in Chino, Ca.

She is very accurate and a pleasure to shoot.
