As ususal, SGW Gunsmith gives very good advice and pictures to boot, especially the part about replacing a split roll pin firing pin stop with a solid steel one. If a person dry-fires his Ruger alot, he must assume the risk of damage. Myself, I dry-fire my Ruger quite a bit for practice, but I also routinely check the condition of the firing pin and firing pin stop pin for any damage.
