A while back I thought that I had the Millet Series 100 P85 rear sight, but the dovetail base on the sight was woefully short, leaving about 3/16" of the slide dovetail slot uncovered. Which means the milled out recess for the firing pin block is exposed to the outside... And the sear block spring is _just_ covered by the base of the sight.
Just picked up what MIGHT be the actual P85 rear sight, it has a much wider dovetail with a allen lock screw on either side of the rear sight blade... What I might actually have installed was a rear sight for the Mark I or so .22 LR pistol, which is a much different beast.... The Mark I rear sight lacks any allen lock screw, and for a .22 LR, you probably don't need it.
Pictures when it arrives...
