Not a great deal but not bad either.

I picked up my tenth Ruger this morning. It's a Single Six 6.5 inch barrel blued for $275.00. The gun looks new, if shot very few round, Someone put Ruger factory wood grips on it, the only bad spot is a thumb print on the side of the hammer. I should be able to take it out with a little fine steel wool and oil.

What vintage is it? Although that's a good price for any vintage in at least decent condition, and yours looks new! Even if it was refinished, or better yet refinished by Ruger!

Sorry no pictures. I never got around to learning how to post them. From the serial number it looks like a 1988. The gun came in the cardboard box. Gun serial number is 69-49XXX. The finish looks new and all the stamping is crisp so I don't think it was ever re-blued.
Funny how things turn out, I have been collecting firearms for just under 50 years, I never considered my self-a collector of any one brand.
More of a shooter than a collector.
