Who makes the grips for these guns

Altamont makes some.

This section contains grips for all Ruger models with a New XR3 frame. Including New Vaquero, 50th Anniversary .357 Blackhawk "Flattop" (2005), and 50th Anniversary .44 "Flattop" (2006).

There are also several custom makers out there. Some are members here.

Can you be more specific? "Lipsey's .44Spl" could be a Blackhawk, Bisley or GP-100.

I think the early Blackhawks do fit.

On the new GP 44 special 5 -shot, they almost look like the old Dan Wesson 15-2 series smooth grips from the mid 70s but with a Ruger medallion on them........hhmmmmm

So we are talking GP-100 here not the good o' Single Action . Only grips I know either come from Ruger or Badger Custom Grips. Probably others though.

Altamont has the checkered version but so far, the smooth ones are not yet available.

They are reminiscent of the old Dan Wesson grips.

Wish they would offer the smooth grips . How would you replace one if it was damaged they must offer them.
