I searched the forums and couldn't really find an answer but I have one of the Ruger RSSEs from Tyler gun works and I'm thinking about selling it but can't find a value for it.

Some info on the pistol

Excellent condition
Serial number RSSE-0196
1 of 150 made

Any help on value or where to sell would be appreciated.

Dan,, I think Bobby Tyler gets a batch of guns and then adds his custom work. I'd say the serial number is the factory one,, with Bobby's additional work.

Their were 250 guns made for Lipsey's, 100 of them went to Bobby Tyler who created a new RSSE model based on the original engraved model, the other 150 were sold as they came from Ruger, i.e., no engraving and this gun is one of those remaining 150.

You can read about it here:

Welcome to the forum! I like that revolver very much. I've always been a fan of two-tone revolvers and that is what I did to my blued-steel Super Single-six.

Welcome to the Forum,,,Nice gun and good luck with the sale, kind of odd that if it's One of One Hundred Fifty, the serial number is #196??????
They made 250 total. The first 100 were engraved similar to the old single sixes and serial numbers 101-250 were this style that was meant to be more affordable.

It wasn't a sales post simply trying to get information because I am trying to sell it and that person said sell it here but I didn't see that part of the rules because I couldn't use the classifieds so I apologize for my misconduct
