BTW, what is a good selling price for a NIB KP89 with manual safety. Recently there were a couple of posts that said, in effect, 'a lot of them are in safes' and '$400'... Is that about the situation?

Thanks.

The low-ballers will likely be along soon, but I think it's a good place to start and would probably sell pretty fast at that price.

They're no longer made and word has spread regarding their value.

I own 3 of them and none are for sale!

Thanks, Ruger1963. $400 is less than I paid for it some years ago as a complement to my PC9. Used a Colt LWC then and now Colt 'out', SR9 'in.' Guess I'll leave it in the safe for some more years.

I think the bubble is starting to burst on guns in general but NIB should still be a premium. Check gunbroker for what the market will bring.

Right about when they were discontinued they were selling for around $425. I think that is a good starting point.
