Rockrat
Single-Sixer
Long story is that there is a revolver down at the LGS. It looks like a Custom Colt SAA (its in 25-20 , bushed and reamed cylinder) but Colt grips don't fit. Pulled the grips off and it looks like an old model Ruger grip frame in a way. Coil spring and guide like an old model blackhawk. It has 416 in a circle, but no other markings and looks a lot like a Super Blackhawk grip frame with the square back trigger guard rounded off to look like a Blackhawk.
On the top strap there is a groove about 1/16" wide on either side and it has adjustable sights where the rear sight sits on a "shelf" at the back of the top strap just like a Blackhawk.
S/N of the gun is on the frame, in front of the grip frame just like a Colt and screws go into the frame from the left sided for the hammer and trigger. Nickle plated. Cylinder does not have a removable bushing.
Kind of a Frankengun.
I have no idea what it is. Got me stumped
