no not converted. Hammer never cocked. My friend had a 357 Magnum, 357 / 9mm Convertible, 30 Carbine, 41 Magnum all NIB 3 scew Blachawks never converted.

Would anybody have information on early 3 screw Blackhawk with brass frame in 30 Carbine?

A friend has a NIB 1955 Ruger Blackhawk 44 magnum, serial number 55.
Was originally a Brownell gun. Frank Brownell had SN 55 and 56 in low SN pgm.........perhaps this was one of Red Duke's firearms in current time frame.........According to the numerical list of low SN assignees from Flatgate and RENE(Yrs ago........)
