Slide Fails To Return To Battery: LC9 NOT LC9S

Yes, full return t battery. Google it. There was {IS?} a problem with the assembly of the return spring assembly. No big deal it appears as one must only make sure the spring is installed right side in.

Slide Fails To Return To Battery: LC9 NOT LC9S

Ruger CSR said she's heard of the problem before. Are sending me a new recoil spring assembly and new extractor spring for free. If that doesn't work, they want to take the gun back and inspect it. So far, so good.

I May Have To Retire My LC9S - It's Not Dependable

Old thread but there is a reassembly problem with the S-series recoil spring assemblies that can crop up if the parts are not put back together correctly. I think Ruger has a fix for the failure to return problem.

Slide Fails To Return To Battery: LC9 NOT LC9S

I'm familiar w/ the LC9S problem, but I have the old LC9. Just started having a problem with slide occasionally not seating fully. Have tried with various ammo and have isolated the problem to the friction between the extractor and the case which the recoil spring is not powerful enough to...

    LC9 Range Report

The more I carry and shoot the LC9 the more I like it. Tho I'd prefer that all pistols had ambi controls, some "right hand" pistols actually seem better suited for lefties like me, such as my SIG's. At first the right hand safety really annoyed me as I like the idea of a positive safety on...

Shortening the LC9 trigger pull lenght

Not to derail the thread but I really like the SR9 as it is. I really do not carry it where I need precision shoting as for varmints and such, but it seems to feel good on the courses we cook up on the range here. I've been VERY impressed with the pistol overall.

    LC9 Range Report

I have become quite a fan of the LC9. I bought mine on a lark, an impulse buy intending to play with it and then dump it. I didn't expect it to be accurate OR reliable. It has been both. A great pistol which I carry everywhere. Some target pix; Here's a group shot at 25 meters. I...

    RUGER SR9 Trigger....HELP!

Hi Guys; Haven't posted in a while but I have a problem. My SIL owns a SR9 and it is a peach, a really super pistol. 100% reliable, feels great, but..... The trigger is as we know, Glock-like, but the Ruger trigger is HARD. Really hard. By now, I've read a bit about the gun and it seems...

    9.3, .375 Hydrostatic Solid Bullets, WW2 Web Gear/Navy Knife

knife sold and deleted. If somebody wants ALL of the bullets, I'll make a great deal on them. Ditto combining other stuff. In pricing Hydrostatics, it appears they go for about $4/bullet, with the cheapest I've seen about $3/bullet. Mine are at about $2/bullet and all of them together I'll sell...
