    SD round for LC9

I had the guy at my local gun store advise me to get a short barrel round just for that reason - some won't expand well from such a short barrel. I ended up getting a box of Gold Dot short barrell +P 124 grain jhp's.

    LC9 trigger work?

I hear different things about dry firing. Some say you should never do it. Some say it really doesn't hurt much. I've dry fired a few times but I haven't gone wild with it because "you're not supposed to dry fire". I really don't know the reason why though. I've also heard of some guys...

What SD ammo are you using in your LC9?

The manual says something like "repeated use of +P ammunition will shorten the life of the gun" I figured for a carry ammunition which I hope to never have to use, +P is probably safe. I use regular FMJ 112 grain loads for target practice. The guy at my local gun store recommended using an...

    LC9 trigger work?

I do know that the M&P is a striker fired gun. I'm not sure if its DAO though. Like you said, the LC9 is hammer fired and DAO. I did hear back from Dan Burwell and he said he does not work on LC9's. At first I thought I liked the idea of the long trigger pull. I saw it as protection...

Ruger LC9 Takedown and First range Experience

I like the concept of a mag disconnect safety, but I hate the long trigger pull. It makes it very difficult for me to shoot accurately. I always shoot low. I've shot 400+ rounds through it with no malfunctions, FTF, or FTE's, but as far as accuracy goes, I struggle learning to use the long...

    LC9 trigger work?

I had no idea about the history of the Jenings/Davis/Bryco firearms. I googled it an found an interesting summary here: http://bryco-jennings-jimenezarms.com/bryco.html As far as the LC9, I was looking at the Burwell Gunsmithing website (http://burwellguns.com/Services.htm) and noticed that...

    LC9 trigger work?

I like my LC9 except for the really long trigger pull. I know some places do custom gun smithing and "trigger jobs". I shot a friends Jiminez arms .380 and the pull was short and light and I was able to shoot it much more accurately. I have no real interest in buying new gun, and would...

Replacement adjustable front sights for LC9

Hmmm. I'll see if I can figure out how to shoot bench resting it. Maybe up at my cabin... At the range I was at today, the bench's are 50 yards from the target area, set up those using rifles, or just to set your ammo on. I do like that the long trigger pull means there will be no...

Replacement adjustable front sights for LC9

I'm very happy with my LC9 and it has been 100% reliable having shot about 250 rounds through it. My only complaint is that at close ranges (5-7 yds) it shoots way low. I was very frustrated this morning when I was at the range with a friend. First I was having issues with hitting low and...

    LC9?

I've had my LC9 for a few weeks now. Two trips to the range and about 250 rounds through it, it has been 100% reliable. No problems of any kind. No FTE, FTF. One guy on you tube in his review said his slide didn't always lock back after the last shot was fired, but mine has never had this...
