Remington Model 514, single shot 22LR, bought it with my hay money when I was 12. Lots of hunting seasons have passed. Put lots of rabbit and squirrel on the table. I wish I could remember what it cost.
Many years ago as a young man while home on leave, I visited my Father at the homestead, I mentioned to him that I heard that gold was $$$$. He replied, “Son, I remember when it was $16.00 and even then, I didn’t have $16.00.”
As an ole’ Maine Boy, I can only shake my head in disbelief when I hear and see the disgusting behavior of those creatures that have invaded my once peaceful stomping grounds.
Excellent setup. Very reasonable price. Why? Consider that Thompson Center closed their doors shortly after S&W bought TC, Shameful. Look at the price of used TC Encore SS Pro Hunter Frames. Very expensive. Also Pachmayr which in my opinion is the premium grip for TC Encores, does not make them...

Pal_K, I could not agree with you more about the 35 Remington. Like you, I own a Marlin 336RC in 35 Rem. Absolutely love the rifle and caliber. It is so comfortable to carry and quick to get on target. Most likely my fondness is associated with hunting with lever actions as a young man in my...
Cab32, I have the exact Ruger revolver in 480 Ruger and love it. Hand loads of 400 gr WFPGC @ +- 1100 FPS. Over kill for Whitetails, but it carries comfortably in a Simply Rugged chest holster.
Wow. You guys are making me feel not so well. I am happy that have not had your experience.(Yet). Maybe at 73 my days are numbered. Stay safe, stay healthy.
I offer my public Sincere Thank You to kmoore. An honest, fair and a pleasant person to communicate with. I recently bought 7mm rifle brass from Ken which exceeded my expectations. Ken, thank you! Hope to meet you on the trail someday. Monty
Similar situation with my Dad. If I did not follow the rules (which happened more then not), he would say “Mr Man” you know better. I knew I was in big trouble.
