Ruger NM NR-9. Duplicate serial number gun. NIB with shipper and RCA certificate. Has two small defects. Small mark on bottom of frame handle. And small spot below trigger on frame. Want to trade for interesting Ruger Mark II. Looking for NIB Great Eight, Lipsey's KMK4BL, MK678GC, MK678US, MK111678G or something else interesting in a .22 Target Pistol. Will probably not jump at first trade offer until I see what else may come up. But then if it is a good offer I might.

Look on the top left of the RCA certificate. Serial #D260-19823

If i'm not mistaken (and it happens daily) there were 441 1984 factory NR-9's with the factory prefix D stamp. No dog in this fight other than I thoroughly enjoy the SSS and most especially the NR-4 and NR-9. This is one rare piece and if not for having many irons in the fire I would be sending photos of my duplicates. Nice offer 1gunsnotenough.
 
There were a TOTAL of 441 Duplicate serial numbered NR series guns. 39 NR-4, 43 NR-9 and the balance between the NR-5 and NR-6. They were offered for sale to the RCAmembership in the 12-83 Journal. $195.00 each .....$390.00 a pair. Price also included a RCA certificate. All serial numbers of these "D" guns have been published by the RCA. Jack.
