Some enormously high quality sambar stags.
Back story - they were set up once 1 piece for a Colt gen 3 project, and they were showing a sliver of frame on the backstrap. It was unsatisfactory, so we're trying something else.
They remain large enough with room to spare for a Colt gen 1 or Ruger XR3 pattern (vintage or contemporary).
I love stags and have looked at a lot
. These can hardly be improved on. They're bark bookmatched, contour bookmatched, and have zero pith (even for Sambars). Theyre about as thick as any pair of factory grips, not bulky. Color is perfect yellow cream.
You can buy them as is, unfitted, or I will set them up for a vintage or modern Ruger flattop, with black eagle medallions if you like.
