Gentlemen, this is the Ruger brass gripframe off my custom 44 flat top by Jim Stroh. The grips are Macassar ebony that Cary of CLC Custom grips perfectly fit to the frame. There is also a wide grooved trigger included as well. The shipped price is $550 for the frame, grips, grip screw and trigger. We can also break this up into two payments of $275 and $275 if you want or we can take $25 off if you don't need the trigger. Here are a couple of pictures of the set installed on the gun. Remember THE GUN IS NOT INCLUDED!

SOLD

Will, according to Cary's website, he uses a Tru-Oil finish in gloss. He says if you want a satin finish it is easy to do with some Birchwood Casey products he discusses on his website.

Will, I will have to ask Cary Chapman who made the grips. I believe he uses an oil finish but I will check with him and post here what he says.

All my grips are finished with Tru Oil gunstock finish. All my grips are finished with a high gloss finish unless the customer wants a satin finish.

In that case I still put enough coats to get the high gloss finish but when hardened and cured, I rub them down with a soft cloth saturated with baby oil and dipped in pumice. Just about 30 seconds of rubbing down with this will take them down to a satin finish.

Anybody can do this. The grade 3F pumice is available at Brownells. Part number #083-057-008.

Will, the pictures do NOT do these grips justice! In fact, if you buy them and decide they are not as nice as you think they will be you can send them back and I'll refund you your money back PLUS the cost of return shipping!

You guys know that if I wasn't scraping up bucks to pay for another 475 I'd be on this like a duck on a june bug! My Home Boy Brassie set is pretty extensive but there are a few spots that could use a little fluffing up... Might need to meditate a bit on that payment plan....

Shoot Stan, you know you can do it in 3 payments if you want. If it does not go soon it will reappear on a tweaked OM short barrelled 45 convertable John Gallagher is about done with just to offer it from a different perspective.

Argh! Nothing like the good ole buddy extended plan to get the dang chocks off the wheels.. Before we roll on the throttle and taxi down the ramp let's give the rest of the interested parties a little time to crack open those piggy banks and cash in those bonds... :D

You boys haven't bought this yet? :?
Still counting pennies here... 8)

I counted all my pennies too and didn't get there...

However I did find a little Gold coin, $10 American Eagle,,, Will that work? ...

If not here's a free bump. :D

Greg, I am a total country bumpkin about stuff like that. I don't even have a clue what gold is going for and how a guy would move a coin like that. I am not opposed to looking at it, I just don't know how to move it once I got it here.

Why don't you hang on to the coin and just go on the easy payment plan as long as it is paid for by Christmas? I am EASY to work with, just ask Axe!

Howdy Robb. If that three payment plan is still available, I would like to have that set. Give a yell and let me know, Hank

While I am more of the stag grip kind of guy, those are some absolutely gorgeous grips. I was too broke, at the wrong time. I wish I could have bought that brassie, but the new owner will be very proud of his beautiful new setup. Nice deal.
