I have one of the stainless Alaskans in 375 Ruger and put it into a newer Ruger plastic stock from a magnum and it is much nicer than that Hogue stock. It fit perfect. Now the 416 Ruger I left in the Hogue stock until I can find something better..the newer Ruger plastic stock don't have a good enough buttpad for the heavier recoil.
