WTKnow: Older Mini, would like info on it also.

I am trying to sell an older Mini 14 that is of the 181-9xxxx series. SRuger says it came from the factory in Jan of 1980. This rifle really is flawless and had the all wood look. No heat shield. I am not aware of the rd count but I do know that it is very low. It belonged to a friend of mines brother. At first I told them that it would be worth probably about 650, maybe 625. But I am not sure now. Does not seem like it is as valued as I expected that it would.
Can I get some input on the value. The mother wants to sell it and the money is going to the family of the former owner...

I sold one just like that for $450 last week. Also sold a stainless version of the same gun for $550.

They are just as good as any made, but the pencil barrel and no provisions for scope mounting turns some people off. Brand new ones at my local shop are $600. CLICK HERE
