WTB Single Six Front Sight

I replaced one that was too short (Height wise) with a patridge front sight from a Ruger Mark III semi .22. I had to shorten the shank of the mounting screw by about two threads; an easy task with a bench vice and file. Makes for a very good sight picture, and only a very close look will reveal that it is not OEM. My friends who shoot it never notice at all.

I bought the sight from Brownell's.

Loctite Blue is your friend.

Call Ruger in Prescott, Az. single six or MK pistols fit. I needed a taller Ft. sight and they sent one right out.
