Well can you tell me what make these "ROPER STYLE" ? All the ROPERS I have seen had fancy checkering and scroll work....these RUGER stocks look awfully plain to me.....just asking thanks RR

Most of Walter Roper's stocks were checkered but it's more about the shape. According to Herrett's, a Roper looks like this. Personally, I don't want checkering on the grips I install on a .480 Super Redhawk.
