Looking for a recurve bow[a takedown model would be easier to ship]for my grandson.Igot him a Bear Bearcat 15# a couple years back at a garage sale and he loves it[also got him an OM Bearcat a few years back!].He really wants my Bear Kodiak Magnum but 50# is a bit too much for him now.Anybody have a 30# recurve they would want to sell? I found a Browning Mohawk across the state on Craigslist but the seller will not respond to calls texts or e-mail.We need a right hand bow.Help me stay "Best Grandpa"!!! Thanks Paul

I have 6 of this guy's work and they are fantastic. http://www.elkridgearchery.com/index.html

Flash they ship just fine.\

GD, I have dealt in recurves for 20 years. I have not found some better to deal with than Lonnie Collins. Give him a shout. Tell what you need and why and if he call he will make it work for you.

Not a recurve, but Dan toelke out of Montana makes a phenomenal longbow for new shooters in lighter poundages. His 'whip' longbows are the finest I have ever used. His light draw bows are about 1/2 price of his top of the line customs.

If you look him up on the web, you will not find anything but satisfied customers. His bows make we wish I'd have thrown my black widows in the trash long ago in terms of speed, quietness, feel and looks.

For $139 you can get a new Samick Sage takedown bow from 25 to 65 pounds off Amazon. They have a wooden riser and are smooth shooting bows.

I would like to find a used USA made bow like the Bear he has now.I am sure i will find one but it may be after xmas.
