A buddy of mine just picked up a nice MKI but it only has one mag. He'd like another. I don't know that much about MKI pistols, but his current mag has the thumb button on the left side. No collector mag needed as he's shooting the gun in our local bullseye league.

Thanks. Contact me and I'll pass the info along.

AGREE: MKI and MKIIs will interchange if thumb knob on the correct side

MKIIs usually do not interchange

You will need MKI or MKIIs for your buddys MKI

I had the same issue. The guys on here helped me and explained how to do it. Just take a Mk II mag, depress the thumb knob all the way down, pull it out and insert it on the opposite side. Now you have a 10-round Mk I magazine.

Mark II magazines you have to remove the plastic bottom to swap over the follower button,,,,,,only the Mk I later A-100 mags (double slot, one on each side of the magazine) does one push the follower from inside ,down to the holes (slots) towards the bottom , pull out the follower 'button' and replace it into the "opposite" side.............
