There are many on Ebay

Edit to say that I don't know if the flattop latch is different than the later ones & there are several latches on ebay that age isn't specified.

I can't recall (w/o going & looking at one,) if the FT 44's used a capped nut or not. That may be the only real difference.

Called Ruger. They say they won't sell latch assy to me unless I send the revolver back to them for the safety conversion.

The person on the phone said the flattop latch assy is no different than the Blackhawk assy.

I checked my 4-digit FT 44. It doesn't have the capped nut for the base pin latch.

Call Ruger again,, asking for sales/service. Say you lost the base pin latch assy for a different gun. Have the serial number for a NM gun available, and then buy the latch assy from them.
