Why does this exist in Wrangler but not the other SA Rugers?

Keeps the softer alloy frame from wearing by the harder steel pawl ?
May also to add smoothness . Steel sliding on steel not steel sliding on aluminum .
Don't worry , in the future many will be lost/left out and we will get to see what happens.
