Never thought this would close at a whopping 1755.00
Ruger Super Single Six, convertable, 17 HMR-17Mach

Comments Please!

My comments...not many out there but anyone paying a rediculous premium like that is gonna be po'd if ruger makes them again! Me...dont need one that bad!

And I hear they aren't all that accurate either. Be different if they outshot all other revolver calibers!

Flamesuit on, but oh the real gun(s) that would buy :). A single but primo tuned Freedom Arms SA, custom'd 'n ivoried or stag'd Colt SAA or USFA Pre War (plus), duo of this, trio of that...

When the Ruger Hawkeye came out it was $87.50. This was 1963-64. In the early 70s they were selling for $250.00. Everyone thought this was way to much money to pay for a gun that sold for $87.50. A few years later they were selling for $500 to $600. A ridiculous price for a $87.50 gun. Then overnight they jumped to a $1000. To rich for my blood!!! Well you know where the price is now.

Now I'm not saying that this "Ruger Super Single Six, convertable, 17 HMR-17Mach" is in the same league as a Hawkeye, but only time will tell if it's worth $1755.00. I'm sure it's worth that to the person that bought it, and only time will tell if they will ever get their money out of it when they go to sell it. Like it's been said. You never pay too much for a gun. You may buy it a few years too soon, just wait your price will catch up to what it is worth if you wait long enough.

I for one would rather put the money into some Old Models that are worth that price now, and not have to wait for the price to catch up with me. While I wait, the Old Models are going up in value while that New Model is trying to catch up with the price that I paid.

that is the "ultimate in the pucker factor...."

maybe he got his 'communion' money, or an interest inheritance check or even hit the lottery..............wow, that is NUTZ,,,,last one we saw sell over here to the neighbor was $350!!!Neighbor Bob,sold it to the other neighbor, and the second neighbor "gave" it to his nephew, couldn't hit 'squat' with it..........

Rugerguy said   couldn't hit squat :!: :!: I ain't heard that saying in a while     coming from Dan its funny he don't hold back on nutten --if the truth hurts ,so be it

Hey I have one of those it's just missing the extra cylinder it only has the hmr cylinder. But it's a lot cheaper.

Yawn. But if someone is willing to pay that, good for the seller.
Yep..... There is always someone out there with more $$ than sense :) . Didn't PT Barnum have something to say about these situations?
