Hi,

Naw... the answer is it's absolutely, positively, with a doubt, "One of those!" The clamp part is similar to the clamp on a table light I use on the loading bench. The hook end? I'll stick with my original guess!

looks like a sink clip.....to hold a K/S down to the counter top......there were many, many different types and configurations.....a lot specific to the brand of sink, ie, Am Std, Kohler, Dayton, Crane, U/R, Ejer, Elkay....I think ya get the point

My guess was also some type of sink clip. But it is only a guess.

This one was really bugging me as I was sure it looked familiar. Sink clip resonates true in my memory.

Sink clip doesn't work for me. Have installed several, and gravity is all what was required.

I believe it is part of the adjustment assembly that moves the rollers on a sliding glass door.
Either that or for a bypass door.
If I was a betting man , I would put my money on a sliding glass door part.
