Up for sale is aSmith & Wesson Model 17-3, .22 caliber revolver with a 6" barrel that's in beautiful condition. Based on its serial number, it was manufactured in 1975 and was shipped in April 1976. The bore and cylinder chambers are pristine, it times properly, and locks up tight. It has a target trigger, target hammer, and goncalo alves target stocks. There's no end shake or push off. The goncalo alves target stocks are in beautiful condition. Priced at $1,125.00 shipped FFL to FFL. Payment by a US postal money order.

interested. the m17 and the k22 are the same gun right? just a name change in the late 40's?

Correct. The model 17 is a K22. The pre war K22's were the K22 Outdoorsman and the K22 Masterpiece. The postwar revolver is the K22 Masterpiece Pre-Model 17 then, in 1957 it became the K22 Masterpiece Model 17.
