I have remained quiet on her cancer after her diagnosis of Pancreatic cancer last December. Dr's said it was treatable and she had 3 treatments each a month apart. Along the way she was hospitalized 3 times due to Gallbladder problems and a stent was put into her bile duct. She was weak and sick most of the time, but we remained hopeful as the Jan, Feb and March treatments showed it was working. The April injection was held off til May due to more testing. Before the last test, I needed to take her to the ER. May 1st, she was given weeks to a month to live. The cancer changed and spread to her liver. I brought her home on May 3rd and into home Hospice care. She passed away on May 15th. My wife was just 63. We were married for 22 years and together for 27 years. Cancer sucks!
Shout out to a friend and forum member Bear Pa Jack, your prayers, thoughts and support was welcome.

Deepest sympathy on the loss of your wife. Cancer is a terrible thing to deal with for everyone involved. Words can not express what you have gone through but you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I send comforting prayers in your time of such a great loss and to remove the hurt your now feeling for the empty space in your heart and to replace them with all the good memories you made throughout you life together...

Glad you were able to have her home so she was able to pass away with you there supporting her. I'm sure that was comforting and meant the world to her. It's my firm belief you will be together again in eternity. When you need guidance you now have a new guardian angel. Peace. I will say a prayer for you to find strength and understanding as you adjust to your new situation.

My sincerest condolences on your loss.

I have come to a point to where the word "cancer" is the dirtiest word I know. I hate it. I have family & friends who've had to deal with it (or are dealing with it,) in one form or another.

Please accept my friend condolences and a prayer for your peace, comfort, and strength. Words are always inadequate in times such as this.

My heart breaks for you, brother. Prayers up for peace and comfort for you, her family, and her friends. I hope you can smile when you think of her, even if it's through tears.
