I have a Winchester pump .22, and a 16ga model 12. I’d love to own a model 42 410 shotgun.

Interesting video. I have an old Model 12 that I occasionally shoot trap with and when they have pump gun night at the sporting clays course it gets used. Also use it some for crow hunting.

I was at an auction yesterday,, and they had a LOT,, I mean a LOT of old stuff like shown,, that would fit perfectly into that collection. I'll get into the auction catalog later & list some of that stuff.

My dad (RIP), who mom now has in her possession 3 Win Model 12's in what I guess are field grade type guns, but been a few years I've seen them when us kids did serial # checks of what was in the home. Dad was also a local, self taught gunsmith who also customized guns and once had a Model 12 in "pigeon grade" that he trapped shot with and won many matches before he sold it after retirement.

I have two Model 12's, both 12 ga. The first is the one I learned to shoot birds with: 24" bbl. with a PolyChoke. No. 2 is a 28" bb. that my dad, brother, and I each put in $20 to buy about 1966. My brother had it refinished and a vent rib added by Simmons. Its my trap gun. Oh and I also have a Browning Model 12 clone they made in 20 ga.

Winchesters are another one of my favorites. I eventually want to get all the main Winchester models.’I have 1873, 1876, 1886, 1892, 1894, 1895 in lever actions. 1890, 1906, 61, 62 in pump action 22. Have a model 12 and 42 shotguns.
1866 and Model 21 are on my radar screen after I get a set of Consecutive Hawkeyes
Oh yeah I forgot my pre 64 model 70’s …, I have 5 different calibers in the model 70’s. Love pre 64 model 70’s

This is my Model 21, still tight as a drum.

My Model 1892 (born in 1892) and 1894 (born in 1901). I still shoot both with mild handloads.

I would like a 42 also. I think it’s really interesting how they made the same general design in different sizes for the various cartridges from .22, .410, 16, 20,& 12ga

My son has shot lots of neat guns, but the only time I’ve ever seen him giggle like a schoolgirl was slam firing my Winchester pump .22.

He hasn’t slam fired my model 12 yet. I’m sure he will enjoy it.

I dont have many Winchesters (but would love more!). I have a 101 20 gauge (Japan made, from the 70s), a 94/22 Magnum, and a model 71 Deluxe Rifle in, of course, .348 WCF.

I only have two Winchesters....

My Sporterized M1917, which is my go-to hunting rifle.

And a Winchester Model 270 that is an absolute blast to shoot, although you have to be careful that the round follower does not leap out of the tube and head downrange (happened to my son when he was taking his Hunter Safety Live Fire test.)
