We went through a simular thread awhile back concerning Winchester's white box 124 NATO.
The general consensous was that the stuff runs about 1150 FPS out of a service-size pistol, which is about 100 FPS faster than SAAMi-Spec (non-+P) 124 ammo.
Personaly, I suspect the "Ranger" version is the very same "NATO ammo" which is merely put up in a fancier box for marketing purposes, so I would expect it to do the same.
From my own experience, 9MM NATO ammo is a bit more brisk than "standard" 9MM ammo, and that it ejects further from my guns. Both of those aspects imply to me that it operates at a somewhat elevated pressure. It would take an ammo lab to determine just how much "somewhat elevated" realy is in SAAMI terms, but even then, the results would vary by lot. Simply comparing military pressure figures to SAMMI pressure figures don't help because those two entities use different methods of measurement.
I've also noted that it uses a harder primer than does commercial ammo. That aspect is readily apparent by comparing the firing pin dents left on the two.
Will it work OK in a LC9?....dunno, I don't own one. All I can say there is to consult the Ruger manual, or talk with them directly.
I do know that after shootin hundereds of rounds of the stuff, that 9MM-NATO works just fine in my High Powers, and is more accurate than any of the 115-FMJ commercial ammo that I've tried. But even though HP's are basicaly military guns (and all that that implies), I do keep a closer eye on their springs than I used to......if you get my drift.
