Not really familiar with this gun any help will be appreciated.

A friend of mine has one he would like to trade with me for something I have.

It's a 22lr bolt action with a military style sling metal plate on forend with adjustable sling positions, 1950 production no sights Weaver 4x scope Has 5 round mag and single shot mag.

Small amount of freckling on the bluing bore is bright and crisp Walnut Stock is in pretty good shape no major dings or scratches

Checked the auction sites and they don't seem to match the numbers he has for value. Any help will be appreciated Thanks in advance ps

Powder, here's some info from Shideler's Catalog of Firearms. My edition is two years old, but maybe it will give you a rough idea.

If it's a 24" barrel it's a sporter model:

NIB--$2,000
Excellent--$900
Very god--$700
Good--$500
Fair--$350
Poor--$250

If it's a 28" barrel it's a target model:

Excellent--$700
Very good--$600
Good--$500
Fair--$350
Poor--$200

Hope this is of some help.

Bkat
